How Aviator Works

A small plane takes off and a multiplier begins climbing from 1.00x. The multiplier can crash at any moment, from 1.01x to over 100x. You place a bet before the round starts and hit "Cash Out" while the plane is still flying to lock in your winnings.

The game lets you place two simultaneous bets per round, so you can use one as a safe cash-out at a low multiplier and let the other ride for a bigger payout. This dual-bet mechanic is what makes Aviator more strategic than it first appears.

Provably Fair System

Every Aviator round uses a provably fair algorithm based on SHA-256 hashing. Before each round, a server seed and three client seeds (from the first three players to bet) are combined to generate the crash point. After the round, you can verify the hash yourself. This means Spribe can't manipulate results, and neither can the bookmaker hosting the game.

The house edge sits at approximately 3%, which is lower than most slot games and comparable to blackjack. Over time, the RTP of 97% means that for every R100 wagered across all players, R97 is returned.

Strategies That SA Players Use

There's no way to predict when Aviator will crash. The provably fair system guarantees that. But experienced players use bankroll strategies to manage risk:

  • Low multiplier grinding: Cash out consistently at 1.5x-2.0x. You'll win more often but the payouts are small. Works if you have patience and a decent bankroll.
  • Split bet: Use the dual bet feature. Cash out Bet 1 at 1.5x for safety. Let Bet 2 ride to 5x or 10x. You break even on most rounds and profit when the second bet hits.
  • Martingale adaptation: Double your bet after each loss. Dangerous because a long losing streak will wipe your balance, but some players use it in short sessions.

No strategy changes the house edge. Over enough rounds, Aviator returns 97%. What strategy does is manage variance, your session length, and your entertainment value per rand.

Auto Cash-Out

You can set an auto cash-out multiplier before the round starts. If you set it to 2.00x, the game automatically cashes you out when the multiplier hits 2.00x without you needing to press anything. This is useful on mobile when you can't always react quickly, or if you want to stick to a disciplined strategy without second-guessing yourself.
