Ellis Park hosts the first Saturday afternoon fixture of the SA season, Lions v Leinster at 13:30 on 26 September. That is a brutal draw for the opening weekend. Lions have improved every season on the URC ladder and last year threatened the top 8, but a home date with the reigning champions is a rough way to start.
