Crash game guide
How to play crash games
A crash game is easy to start and just as easy to keep playing for longer than planned. Learn the controls first; decide what you can lose before the first paid round.
The round in four moves
Choose a stake, place it before the round starts, watch the multiplier and cash out before the round ends. If the game crashes while your stake is still open, that stake loses.
The exact controls depend on the title. Aviator, Spaceman and the two different Red Baron games do not have interchangeable betting panels, so read the help inside the game you actually open.
Total return is not the same as profit
A R10 stake settled at 1.50x returns R15 in total. Your profit is R5 because the R15 includes the R10 you put in. At 2.00x, that same stake returns R20, giving R10 profit.
A round that ends before you cash out can lose the full R10. Several small successful cash-outs can be offset by losses, so judge the session by money in and money out rather than the number of green results.
Start with the controls, not a deposit
Use a demo to locate the stake field, cash-out button and settings. Check what remains switched on after a round, particularly autoplay or any option that repeats a bet.
Demo credits cannot be withdrawn. A comfortable practice run is not evidence of a profitable real-money strategy, and the real-money version's rules and settings still need checking.
Set three limits before starting
Choose a maximum loss for the session, a total stake limit per round and a time to stop. Include every active bet box when adding up the stake for a round.
If you reach the loss limit, stop rather than topping up to get back to the starting balance. If you are playing because you need money for rent, food or a bill, do not place the first stake.
What to check in a bookmaker lobby
Match the game name and provider, then read the stake limits, game rules and cash-out settings. Two games can share a name without sharing a provider; Red Baron is a good example.
Keep account decisions separate from game decisions. Verification, payment limits and withdrawal terms matter even when the game interface looks familiar. Our bookmaker reviews cover those practical checks.
