Chiefs v Siwelele tips: Amakhosi edge the cup tie
Kaizer Chiefs are our narrow pick against Siwelele. Wandile Duba scored three in the previous round, with Mduduzi Shabalala repeatedly opening up TS Galaxy's defence. Siwelele have just conceded three to previously winless Marumo Gallants, although Vincent Pule's set-piece threat gives Chiefs a defensive problem of their own.

Duba and Shabalala supplied the cup breakthrough
Wandile Duba's hat-trick against TS Galaxy came in an 18-minute spell after half-time. Pule Mmodi crossed for the first, Duba followed up a saved penalty for the second, then Mduduzi Shabalala sent him through for the third.
Shabalala was involved throughout that sequence. He helped create the first goal, won the penalty and supplied the final through ball. Siwelele must interrupt that service as well as mark Duba inside the area.
The same pair nearly put Chiefs ahead in the derby. Shabalala released Duba in the 13th minute, but Sipho Chaine saved. Chiefs are creating openings through this combination; against Pirates, they did not turn the early one into a lead.
Siwelele have just conceded three to Gallants
Their 3-2 defeat at Royal Bafokeng gave Marumo Gallants a first league win of the season. Siwelele conceded after seven minutes, equalised through debutant Raymond Makhuvele, then fell 3-1 behind shortly after the restart.
Vincent Pule reduced the gap with a free-kick in the 55th minute. His second goal of the campaign kept Siwelele in the match, but they could not find another despite introducing Zakhele Lepasa late on.
The quarter-final follows a very different cup performance. Siwelele held Polokwane City to 0-0 before winning the shootout 4-3 in the previous round. That defensive result is the one they need to reproduce against Shabalala's passing and Duba's movement.

Chiefs bring a poor league run to Polokwane
The 2-1 derby defeat made it four league games without a win. Chiefs equalised through Mmodi and threatened again before half-time, but Pirates broke through after the interval and created several chances to extend their lead.
Chiefs will play this home quarter-final at New Peter Mokaba rather than FNB Stadium. Their 3-0 cup win was in Johannesburg, so Sunday's setting is different even though they retain the home designation.
Inácio Miguel is suspended after his late red card in the derby, so Fernando da Cruz must reshuffle his central defence. New signing Elias Mokwana is unlikely to feature, with the coach planning to integrate him after the international break. Mmodi and Mfundo Vilakazi, who both contributed to the derby equaliser, remain the wide options.
Chiefs have the stronger route to a goal
Siwelele's three concessions against Gallants make Duba's recent finishing and Shabalala's passing the most persuasive attacking combination in this tie. Chiefs have already used it to take a cup game away from an opponent after a goalless first half.
Pule's free-kick at Royal Bafokeng is the main warning against a comfortable home-win prediction. We favour Chiefs in 90 minutes, but their own four-match winless league run makes a narrow result more convincing than another three-goal margin.
